WHO WE ARE
We are Barbara & John Poole. We supply and install beautiful Hardwood and Waterproof Shutters, Blinds, blackout blinds and all types of Carpet & Flooring. We have been a business with loyal clients for over 20 years. As Henry Ford said, “Quality is doing it right when no-one is looking”. It is our daily goal.
All of the images on our website are from our own work. We have never used and will never use stock images. We have many many clients who would be only too happy to show you their installations over a coffee, if you’d like to try before you buy!
Our Showroom
We open from Tuesday to Friday 10am to 3PM, and 10am until 1pm on Saturday, so please pop in to talk to us about hardwood shutters, blinds and powered blinds. We also supply and fit all carpet and flooring. We can also cater for you outside of these hours, by appointment. We have a full suite of images on our TV display, showcasing our previous projects. Carpets
We have a wide range of wool and stainfree carpets from suppliers such as Westex, Abingdon and Balta Carpets. We also buy in bulk, which means the lowest wholesale prices and the lowest retail prices for products in our range. We always have excess stock from large projects, so ask us about this.

Flooring
We supply and fit all types of flooring such as Karndean, Amtico, Moduleo, Polyflor and Westex. We have a great range of displays and samples for your to see and feel. As with our carpets, we always have excess stock and so we always have a deal for you even if it is only a small amount you are after.

Shutters & Blinds
We offer made to measure bespoke painted hardwood and waterproof shutters in a range of finishes and colours. We work and liaise directly with the manufacturers to ensure we are all fitting the very best solution for you. The products we order are truly bespoke and made to the millimetre. We have a very short lead time, usually half the time of our competitors and as low as 1-2 weeks on some products. We can make complex shaped shutters or huge sliding solid panels for patio doors etc. Please enquire about your new shutters with us and have a look at our shutter page. We also sell a range of Blinds, from Roman, day and night, Wooden Venetian, foil Venetians and Verticals. Curtains and Voils are also some of our popular products. We are the local supplier and installer for the exciting new BlindScreen product, which is set to become a fantastic product to have in 2026. We are also a trade partner with Bloc Blinds.
